Join us - for public speaking and fun!  

Windsor Speakers is committed to developing public speaking and communication skills in its members. Many people join with little or no experience of speaking in front of an audience, in some cases a deep fear of public speaking. Though a structured programme of speaking projects, and with positive feedback from fellow members speaking skills, confidence and self-assurance improves.

Windsor Speakers is an affiliate of Toastmasters International, a not-for-profit organisation. Although all Toastmasters clubs follow the same basic structure, each has a distinct flavour.

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

We encourage visitors to come along to our meetings as guests to see for themselves what we do. No fee is payable for guests, and they will be made very welcome and will not be expected to take part in any of the speaking events. A host will be assigned to you to explain the evening and answer your questions. We hope that if you enjoy yourself and want to improve your public speaking skills you would want to join as a member.

It costs £15 to join, for which you get a monthly magazine and a Toastmasters speaking projects manual. The manual takes you through your first 10 speeches, after which you may apply for a Competent Toastmaster's Award. You also get booklets on dealing with nerves and improving your voice quality. Windsor Speakers also charges a bi-annual membership fee of just £36.
